• Your email address (for account creation and login)
• Data you choose to enter: member profiles, fronting history, notes, timeline entries, and any other content you create in the app
• Device push token (if you enable notifications) — used only to send you front-change alerts from friends
• Basic usage data — no third-party analytics SDKs

• We don't sell your data. Ever.
• We don't use advertising SDKs or tracking pixels
• We don't share your data with third parties except as described below

• Hetzner — the servers your data lives on, based in Germany. Hetzner Privacy Policy

• Apple / Google — process payments for subscriptions through their respective app stores

Parallax requests access to your device's photo library solely to allow you to upload images within the app (such as member avatars, notes, and posts). We do not access your camera. Selected photos are uploaded to secure cloud storage and are only used to display content you have chosen to share. We do not scan, analyse, or share your photos with any third parties.

All sharing with friends is explicit and consent-based. Nothing is visible to anyone unless you choose to share it. System members, notes, and history are private by default. You control what friends can see through Privacy Settings.

You are in full control of your data. Individual items — members, notes, timeline entries, posts, messages, and uploaded files — can be deleted at any time. All deletions, whether single items or your entire account, are permanent and immediate. We do not retain backups of your data after deletion.

To prevent the free trial from being claimed more than once per email address, we retain a one-way cryptographic fingerprint (SHA-256 hash) of your email after account deletion. This is the sole exception to the above. The fingerprint cannot be reversed to recover your email and is not linked to any personal profile or used for any other purpose.

You can export all your data as JSON at any time from Settings → Export data. No paywall.

Parallax requires users to be 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
